I've got about 370 more that I didn't post, but they take up 145 meg at the original resolution, so there's nowhere to put 'em. ^^;;

    Anyway, happy investigating:

    Geee, thanks for making me want to go to Japan even more than I did before

    Kidding aside, those are some really neat photos! Complete with funny comments as well hehe

    That food looks sooooooo frigging good *drools* And man, are those koi ever so big I've been wanting to get some koi for my pond for a while now, but ones half the size of the ones in your pic cost about 10 000 kr (which is like 1000 dollars)

    Thanks for sharing the pics!

    Hehe, nice pictures, and the cutest comments ever! Especially liked the one about crawling through Buddha's Nostril. XD Tofu burger eh? So, how was it?

    Come July, I'm going to Tokyo and Sapporo. ~.^ So if you saw anything particularly interesting in Tokyo, Risu-chan, do let me know where it is! XD

    I don't know if I could eat that It'd be weird Plus I'd be full from gorging myself (and going broke from eating) sashimi

    Wow, lotsa stuff to reply to (and 10 minutes before a meeting! @_@) Let's type fast... ^^;;

    Tofuburgers: ermmm.... I have a problem with *bad* fusion food. I like tofu. I like fried tofu. I hated the tofuburger, because it was neither proper tofu (which just does not belong on a sesame-seed bun with lettuce and tomato ^^; nor a proper burger, even a gardenburger (burgers of any species do not belong with some funky sesame-ginger-oil-drippy goo all over them). At least in my opinion. McDonalds would have had a lot more luck getting me to eat one of the things if they'd even taken the satay approach to tofu, fried little bits of it like McNuggets or something, and given sauces on the side so you could pick one that didn't turn your stomach...

    Like I said, Keith & Shaun made me eat it... ^^;;;;;;;

    Cool places to go in Tokyo -- if you aren't sure where you're staying yet, Ryokan Sawanoya (the one in the picture of jet lag beating Shaun) is a really great place in Tokyo near the Ueno Park area -- about 5 minutes' walk from the Nezu station. It was also the only place I saw selling indigo-style bath-type yukata for anything under insanely expensive -- there they were about $20, and most of the other yukata I saw weren't indigo or bath-type, they were "summer-weight wear-outdoors kimono" type, and I really like indigo dyeing... so even if you can't stay there it's possibly worth a brief shopping trip. If you CAN stay there, you DEFINITELY want to eat the Japanese breakfast -- it's insanely gorgeous and very tasty... mmmmmmmmmmMMMMmmmm.... ^__^

    Oh, and if anybody wants to save the pics to their HD or desktop or anything, sure! (It's definitely not like I've got a copyright on Himeji-jo or anything! ^^;;;; I'll have to see if I can find somewhere to post some more castle and temple pics, I love Japanese architecture...
